Nature safaris in Yosemite are a combination of
awesome landscape opportunities and occasional wildlife. While the safaris go
during different seasons, each season offers something unique - winter and snow,
autumn colors, spring green - and roaring waterfalls. The massive granite monoliths provide
backdrops for Yosemite Valley and the Merced River, one of the top photography
destinations in all the world. Over the years I've photographed bobcats, black bears, mule deer bucks, and an
assortment of birds - so depending on the season, wildlife opportunities will
also be available.
Reservations
We can meet at my home if you are coming from the south, or in
Oakhurst near the south entrance to Yosemite. We stop for lunch in the
park around 11am, and usually finish up around 4:30. The fall and winter
months will be cool to very cold, so dress accordingly - boots, gloves, knit
hat, and possibly thermals.
