Pines and Sequoias cloaked in fresh snow | Sequoia Snow-shoe Safari

Amazing Winter Landscapes among the Largest Trees on Earth

Safari Information Reservations Guide: Brent Paull

The winter snows fall heavy in Sequoia NP.  The snow can pile up to several feet, creating a winter wonderland that the vibrant red trucks of sequoia trees rise from like the giants they are.  Snow shoes help get off the road to capture better landscapes but aren't essential.

Difficulty Level : Some walking
Participants -
max of 5 clients.

In past years the weather has gone from mild to frigid, so come prepared for either.  The snow reflects a lot of light which reduces the need for a tripod, again, great if you want to carry one but not essential.

We can meet up at my home in Tulare, or along Highway 198 in Visalia at a hotel.  Snow shoes make movement much easier, as do snow boots, ski jackets, gloves, neck gator, etc.

The deposit is 50% via check, Paypal, Venmo, or credit card, and the balance is due halfway between the deposit date and the safari date unless you are booking within 3 months, then full payment is due.  Check the main safari page for other info.  Link

I've spent my 40-year photography career shooting in the West.  The first 24 years based in Utah, the past 18 in California.  The photo safaris that I lead are all to the best locations at the best times.
